Business Controller

We are looking for a Business Controller to strengthen our finance team and support our growth. The position is based in Leppävaara, Espoo. You are a versatile finance professional with specific expertise and a willingness to learn more.

In this role, you will gain exposure to the entire finance spectrum of a publicly listed company, not just a narrow part of a specific finance process. You will work alongside our talented colleagues in an international environment enabling data-driven decisions. You will be enabling data-driven decisions that accelerate our mission. You’ll work in close cooperation with CFO as part of our efficient finance team.

Your impact

• Manage long-term planning, forecasting and monthly management reporting processes

• Support management decision-making by driving profitability, investment and cashflow modelling

• Participate in delivering together with the finance team Betolar Group’s monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with IFRS

• Prepare presentations for investors and financial institutions

• Contribute to financing processes (e.g. financial grants / loans)

•  Play a key role in possible M&A activities

•  Develop financial reporting and visualizations by using data and AI

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

• Hands-on experience in financial modelling     

• Understanding of reporting requirements for a publicly listed company

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insights

• Proactive and independent approach with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

•  Good collaboration skills

•  Understanding of IFRS, ability to adopt new standards and interpretations is considered an asset

• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insights

• Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken

•  MSc / BBA Degree in Economics, Accounting or other similar qualifications
