Commercial Business Development Manager, Mining
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Business Development Manager, Mining, to join our team. The primary location for this role is Espoo, with the possibility of hybrid work. However, the job location can be negotiated and may also be based in Kannonkoski or Northern Finland.
This role is the perfect combination of strategy work, business development, sales, and marketing. In addition to business development work, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing customer relationships within the mining sector, collaborating closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead commercial business development for the mining sector, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives
Drive sales and marketing efforts for various mining solutions together with the team
Manage budgeting and sales forecasting for the business area
Acquire new customers and maintain existing relationships by identifying customer needs and customizing our solutions
Achieve and exceed sales targets
Represent the company at industry fairs and events
Requirements:
A master’s degree in economics, Engineering, or a related field
Experience in business development, strategy development and implementation
Sales experience, particularly in the industrial sector, mining experience is highly advantageous
Strong understanding of Key Account Management (KAM) practices and the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Highly organized with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations and making customer offers
Goal-oriented and results-driven
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel as required
